About the event

Are you ready for another live event?

This time, we’ll hear from Benetick Kabua Maddison, the Executive Director of the Marshallese Educational Initiative.

The Marshallese Educational Initiative (MEI) is an NGO based in Springdale, Arkansas, where the highest concentration of Marshallese people in continental America reside. MEI serves the Marshallese community, works to increase educational attainment, promotes historical and cultural awareness of the Marshallese people, the nuclear legacy of the Marshallese Islands, Climate Change, and facilitates intercultural dialogue.

During our live event, we will be discussing MEI's work, their 'nuclear story', and much more! Join in and be part of the #chainreaction.
